Hey Product Hunt 👋
More and more sites send a login code to your email instead of asking for a password. Linear, Notion, Claude, Vercel, Perplexity. Every time it's the same dance: switch to your inbox, find the email, copy the code, switch back, paste.
Safari can do this with Apple Mail, but I live in Gmail and Dia Browser, so it never worked for me. So I built OTPfill.
How it works:
• Click into a code field on any site
• OTPfill checks your inbox for new mail from the last few minutes
• The code shows up under the field, usually a second or two after the email lands
• Click Fill, or press ⌘⇧O. If the email came from the site you're on, it fills on its own
It handles number codes and letter codes (like Linear's), and it ignores promo codes.
On privacy: it only reads mail while a code field is open, only recent messages, and it never stores or logs email content. It never sends anything on your behalf.
Pricing is simple: $29 once for 2 inboxes on all your Macs. If you need more inboxes, it's $5 a month.
I'd love to hear which sites break it, and what you'd want it to fill next. I'm working on magic links, "confirm your email" links, SMS codes, and booking references from confirmation emails.

Who hunted OTPfill?
OTPfill was hunted by Arsen K. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
