What stands out: • Photo proof + parent approval keeps it honest • 50 preset chores in 6 categories + custom quests • Gamified habit-building: points, rewards, stickers • One shared parent phone — no kid device needed • Cloud backup via Google Built solo with Flutter. Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm a solo developer, and I built Otetsudai Quest because getting kids to help around the house was a daily struggle in my home. "Please tidy up" rarely worked — what kids really wanted was a sense of achievement and a little reward. So I turned chores into quests. Kids pick a quest, finish the chore, and report it with a photo. A parent approves it, and they earn points to spend in a reward shop, collect stickers, and unlock bonus mini-games. The photo + approval flow keeps it honest and turns "you have to" into "I want to!" A few things I focused on while building: • Designed for one shared parent phone — no separate device for kids • 50 ready-made chores across 6 categories, plus custom quests • Colorful, kid-friendly UI with sounds and small celebrations • Private by design: submission photos stay on the device It's built solo with Flutter. Available on Android now, with iOS coming soon. I'd love your honest feedback — especially from parents and fellow makers. What would make chores more fun for your family? 🙌
