I'm JF, solo founder of Origano.
I built it out of frustration. I tried every recipe and meal planning app on the market, and they were either missing key planning options or too expensive. Most of them treat meal planning as 14 empty slots you have to fill by hand. That wasn't enough for me. When it's time to plan meals for my family, I want it to be fast and straightforward.
So Origano is a bilingual (EN/FR) recipe manager with a menu generator that fills your whole week in one click. Then you tweak it to your family's needs in 3-4 clicks. No clutter, no empty calendar to fight with.
I spent 6 months polishing the core before launching here, and the menu generator is just the beginning. There's plenty more I've been cooking (see what I did there? 😁)
