Ordewell
Goal in → plan → parallel coding-agent tasks.
Ordewell turns one goal into an ordered plan of coding-agent tasks. A read-only planner reads your repo and comes back with tasks, each carrying its own runner, model, thinking effort and mode. You edit the plan before a single token is spent, then each task runs as one real agent session verified by its own completion marker. Free, Apache-2.0, no paid tier.
Hey Product Hunt — I'm the maker of Ordewell. Happy to answer anything.
The short version of why this exists: I kept giving a coding agent a multi-step goal and finding out on step 4 that it misread step 1 — with files already written. The plan lived in the model's head, so there was nothing to correct, only something to undo.
Ordewell makes the plan the artifact. A read-only planner reads your repo, comes back with an ordered list of tasks, and each task shows the runner, model, effort and mode it'll use. You edit all of it before anything runs. Then each task is one real agent session — Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode — and a task is done only when its own completion marker appears in the runner's output. No model grades itself.
Free, Apache-2.0, no paid tier. Install: npm install -g ordewell or the VS Code extension. Point it at a repo you know and read the plan it hands back — that first plan is the whole argument.

Who hunted Ordewell?
Ordewell was hunted by Alessandro Ciano. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
