I built Orchard because the gap between "I have an app idea" and "it's actually on my iPhone" is still ridiculous. No-code tools mostly spit out web apps in a wrapper, and the AI app builders that do exist don't give you the real thing — you can't touch the camera, motion sensors, AR, the stuff that makes an app feel native or you need a capacitor etc which is where users give up on their builds!
So Orchard takes a different route: you describe what you want in plain English, and it generates real, production-ready SwiftUI — actual Swift files — then ships them straight to TestFlight. Because it's real Swift, your app can use Apple's full stack: body tracking, Vision, NFC, AR/LiDAR, the lot. And you can drop in AI capabilities — text, video, 3D asset generation — without wrangling any API keys.
