Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Mason. I have a lot of side projects, and I wanted one place to keep all the stuff that goes with them — ideas, assets, docs, dependencies, and whatever else I’d need when I came back to one. So I built Orbit. It’s a little home for each project on your Mac, so you can pick it back up without spending half your time remembering where you left everything. It started with something I wanted for myself, and I’m excited to share it with other people who also have a few too many projects on the go 😅 Have a look and let me know what you think. I’d love to hear how you keep track of yours.

Who hunted Orbit?

Orbit was hunted by Mason Day. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
