I built Orbit because running one AI coding agent felt like babysitting, and running three felt like a group chat during a fire drill. Terminals everywhere, agents silently stuck waiting for an answer, two of them editing the same file.
Orbit is a desktop app that treats agents like a team instead of a pile of terminals:
- Type a task; Orbit puts an agent on it in its own git worktree (10 CLIs supported: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, OpenCode, Copilot, Amp Droid, Aider, Pi - anything that runs in a terminal works)
- Worktree isolation means agents never touch each other's files, and merges go through one serialized lane - conflicts land in the agent's copy, never your checkout - "Done" only counts after your lint/typecheck/tests pass a verify gate
- Everything that needs a human - a blocked question, a finished diff - rises into one queue, and you can answer from your phone
