OpenVeil is a privacy-first AI workspace built for conversations you don’t want living in a typical cloud chat history. Private chat history stays local to your browser, while you still get powerful AI features like web search, file uploads, voice, image tools, and more. It’s designed for people who want modern AI without giving up control of their conversations, with fewer unnecessary restrictions.
I built OpenVeil because I kept coming back to the same question: why should using powerful AI mean leaving a permanent trail of every conversation?
OpenVeil is my attempt at a different model. Private chat history stays local to your browser, while you still get the features people actually want from modern AI: web search, files, voice, images, and more.
I also wanted it to feel less restrictive than the typical AI experience, especially for legitimate conversations that are personal, sensitive, controversial, or simply none of anyone else’s business.
This is still very much a product I’m actively shaping, so I’d genuinely love feedback on the privacy model, the UX, pricing, and what you’d want to see next.
