OpenSesh
Open-source SSH, SFTP, RDP & VNC client in one native app
OpenSesh brings terminals, SSH, SFTP, S3, tunnels, serial, containers and RDP/VNC remote desktops into one native app for Windows and Linux. Written in Rust with Qt 6. Free, open source (GPL-3.0) and with zero telemetry.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built OpenSesh because I wanted a single place for every remote connection: SSH sessions, file transfers, tunnels and remote desktops. I also wanted it native, private and free, without a subscription or an account. [ajusta]
What you get:
🖥️ A fast GPU terminal with tabs, split panes and broadcast input
🔐 Built-in SSH with jump hosts, agents and auto-reconnect
📁 SFTP & S3 file manager with drag & drop and resumable transfers
🚇 Tunnels that come back by themselves
🖼️ RDP and VNC remote desktops in tabs
🧩 Snippets, macros and session recordings
🛡️ Zero telemetry and an encrypted vault for your keys
You can import your hosts from MobaXterm, PuTTY, Remmina or ~/.ssh/config in a few clicks.
It's v1.0 for Windows and Linux, and macOS is on the roadmap. I'd love to hear what you think and what you'd want next!
