openProd.io

Turn supplier PDFs and spreadsheets into PIM-ready data

Supplier product data arrives as PDFs and spreadsheets, and someone retypes it into the PIM. openProd does that step. It reads the supplier file, maps each value to your own data model (families, attributes, units, languages) and asks your team only about the values it is unsure of. Every value links back to its place in the source file, and every decision is recorded. Checked products go to Pimcore, Akeneo or Ergonode, or to your own systems through the REST API and the MCP server.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Olgierd, CEO and co-founder of openProd. For years our team at LemonMind has implemented PIM systems for manufacturers and distributors (70+ projects, mostly on Pimcore). The PIM was rarely the hard part. The hard part came before it: suppliers send PDFs and spreadsheets in their own formats, and someone on the customer's team retypes them, value by value, into the PIM. openProd takes over that step. You drop in a supplier file, it reads it, maps the values to your own families and attributes, converts units, and asks you only about the values it is not sure of. You can open any value to see where it came from in the source file, and every decision stays in the history. Then the products go to Pimcore, Akeneo or Ergonode, or anywhere else through the REST API or the MCP server. We would love your feedback, especially if you work with supplier data yourself: which files hurt the most, and what would you need to trust AI with your catalogue?
