OpenCharm is an open-source body for the AI agent you already run, right by your Mac's notch. Hold one key to talk and Claude Code, Codex or any agent gets to work, answers out loud and asks when it needs you. Next, it hangs from your keychain.
Hi all! Michael here.
AI agents can write code, answer email and run whole workflows, but they still have no body. You can't glance at them, and they can't look back, so I built OpenCharm, a face and a voice for the agents you already run.
Today it lives by your Mac's notch. Its eyes show when your agent is thinking, working or needs you, and you hold one key to talk. Next, it steps off the screen into a tiny charm you can build yourself and bring around.
Your agent, your name, your colour, your faces. Connects to Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, OpenClaw or anything APC compatible. Free and open source.
Which agent would you give a face to first?

Who hunted OpenCharm?
OpenCharm was hunted by Michael. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
