OpenAva
Your personal AI team that evolves with your workflow.
Most AI feels like disposable chat tabs. OpenAva gives you persistent agents — each with their own memory, tools, and workspace — that work as a team across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Keep talking to the same agents over time. Open source, MIT.
I built OpenAva because most AI products still feel like disposable chat tabs. I wanted something more persistent: AI agents with their own memory, tools, and workspace that keep getting better as you work with them.
With OpenAva, you can create specialized agents and run them as a team across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You keep talking to the same agents over time, instead of starting a new session whenever you want to continue a task or pick up earlier work.
A few things that make it different:
🧠 Persistent agents — each with their own identity, memory, tools, and workspace
👥 Agent Teams as a first-class concept — a planner, an executor, a reviewer working on the same context, instead of one prompt trying to do everything
🍎 Native on Apple — iOS 18+, macOS 15+, with device-aware tools (files, calendar, reminders, notifications…)
🔌 Bring your own model — any provider, any endpoint
📱 Remote control — steer active agent workflows from another device
🔓 Open source, MIT — your agents, your data, your machine
The goal is to make AI feel less like a one-off conversation and more like a personal system that evolves with your workflow.
It's still early, but the core experience is already here. The macOS dev build is Developer ID-signed & notarized, ready to try today.
I'd love feedback on the product direction, onboarding, and whether this feels genuinely useful in daily work. What's the first agent team you'd build? 🙌
