OnlineImageTools
Free image tools that never upload your files
Free image tools that never upload your files — everything processes in your browser
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built OnlineImageTools because I was tired of uploading my private photos to random servers just to resize or convert them.
The turning point: my friend sent me her iPhone photos to convert from HEIC to JPG, and I realized most "free online tools" upload your files to process them server-side. That's when I decided to do everything in the browser instead.
How it works:
→ Canvas API for image processing
→ File API for local file access
→ Web Workers for background processing
→ Your files NEVER leave your device
The site has 8 tools: Resizer, HEIC→JPG, Compressor, WebP→PNG, SVG→PNG, Bulk Resizer, Format Converter, and Background Remover. Plus 15 blog posts with image editing guides.
Tech: Next.js 16 + TypeScript + Tailwind + Vercel.
Would love your feedback! Which tool would you use most? 🙏
