I built OneVault because I didn't want to trust a password manager.
Every big one is a honeypot. One breach at the company and millions of vaults
are exposed at once — we've watched it happen. So OneVault has no backend at
all. Your vault is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM, and the only
backup goes to a private folder in *your* Google Drive. There's no OneVault
database, because there's no OneVault server.
It's one app for passwords, TOTP 2FA codes, cards and secure notes, plus breach
checking against Have I Been Pwned (only a partial hash ever leaves the phone),
password health scoring, Android autofill, and a travel mode that hides
sensitive vaults at a border.
Your master password is stretched with Argon2id and never leaves the device.
The honest cost of that: lose it and the data is gone. No reset link, no support
backdoor. I'd rather be upfront about it than pretend otherwise.
