Top comment

Hey Product Hunt! New maker here. I built OneLimit to fix a problem that drove me up the wall as a dad: screen-time limits are per device, but my kids have phones, PS5, Switch(es) and more. I’d set 2 hours on the phone, they'd burn it, then move to the PS5 for 2 more, then the Switch. Or ask to "trade" less time on the phone for more time on the console, with constant discussions. Three “limits” that quietly added up to 6+ hours, because none of the devices know the others exist. OneLimit gives your family one daily budget that counts down across every device - iPhone/iPad, PS5, Switch, Xbox, and Windows PC. When the time’s gone, it’s gone everywhere. There’s also a one-tap “lock everything now” for dinner and bedtime, kids can see their own remaining time and ask for more, and it’s deliberately not a surveillance tool - it manages time, not messages or location. It’s a solo, nights-and-weekends project and it just launched, so I’d genuinely love your feedback - especially from parents juggling consoles + phones. What would make this a must-have for your house? Happy to answer anything.
