I built Oneirism because most dream journals stop at writing things down. I wanted something that also helps with the actual practice of lucid dreaming. You can record dreams by voice or text, practice MILD, WILD and WBTB, get customizable reality-check reminders, and look for patterns over time. Everything is private by design: no account, no ads, no servers of mine, and no subscription.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built Oneirism because I wanted a dream journal that was actually made around the practice of lucid dreaming, rather than a general journaling app with a few dream-related features added on top.
While building it, I kept cutting things instead of adding them. I wanted the app to stay focused on the habits I actually find useful: writing dreams down quickly, improving recall, practicing techniques like MILD, WILD and WBTB, and remembering to do reality checks during the day.
Privacy was also important to me, especially considering how personal dreams can be. There’s no account, no ads, and no Oneirism server storing your dreams. Your data stays on your devices and syncs through your own iCloud.
I also didn’t want another subscription, so after the 7-day trial it’s a one-time purchase.
This is my first version out in the world, so I’d genuinely love to hear what lucid dreamers — or anyone who keeps a dream journal — think of it.
