I built a lightweight desktop app for browsing Kafka topics because I got tired of opening heavy admin dashboards just to inspect a few events. Offsy currently supports live message tailing, JSON inspection, filtering/search and a lightweight desktop workflow for Kafka developers. It’s currently an early access macOS alpha and I’d genuinely love feedback from people working with Kafka regularly.

I built Offsy because I repeatedly found myself opening large Kafka admin dashboards just to inspect a few messages during development.
I wanted something:

Offsy is currently an early access macOS alpha focused on:
