Nutrition MCP
Log meals by just talking to Claude or ChatGPT
Track meals, macros, weight, and nutrition history through conversation with Claude or ChatGPT. Free MCP server for AI-powered food logging, barcode scanning, calorie counting, weight tracking, and diet tracking. Unlike a tracking app, there's nothing to open — it works inside whatever AI client you already use daily. No ads, no premium tier, staying free. I've used it myself every day since March.
Hey PH 👋
I'm Anton. I built Nutrition MCP because I wanted to log what I ate without switching apps mid-conversation with Claude — turns out that's a workflow a few hundred other people wanted too.
The approach shifted a bit as I built it: I started just wanting barcode lookup and macro logging, but the natural-language part became the actual point — you can just say "log a chicken caesar wrap, medium" and it handles the parsing and macros itself. OAuth 2.0/PKCE auth means you connect it once to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client and it just works from then on.
It's free and staying that way — not trying to build a business here, just a tool I use every day that other people found useful too. Happy to answer anything about the MCP side, the auth flow, or nutrition-tracking-by-LLM in general.
