👋 Hey Product Hunt!
I'm Sundar — an AI Engineer from Tamil Nadu, India.
Today I'm launching numly — a Python library I built out of curiosity . 🌍
The idea started simple: why isn't there a clean, single library to convert numbers across the world's numeral systems?
So I built one.
numly supports 12 systems:
🏛️ Roman, Greek, Egyptian hieroglyphs
🀄 Chinese, Arabic-Indic
🌿 Tamil (my own language!), Babylonian cuneiform, Mayan glyphs
💻 Binary, Octal, Hex, and English words (Western & Indian — lakh, crore)
Numbers are deeply cultural. A developer building apps for India needs lakh/crore. A history teacher needs Roman or Egyptian. numly brings all of that into one .
I'd love your feedback, questions, and upvotes!
