Nudge is a tiny pixel-art companion that lives on your desktop, tracks your focus, and nudges you to take breaks before you burn out. Unlike rigid timers, it gets visibly exhausted the longer you work, recovering only when you actually rest. Nudge has smart app awareness, changing its animations and speech based on whether you are coding, gaming, or browsing.
After working hours straight for months straight, I finally decided to do something about my tendency to lock in too hard. Doing this gives the illusion of being productive while actually being counterproductive. I made nudge to fix this.
Instead of annoying alarms that completely break your flow, nudge provides a companion that shares my exhaustion.
Right now, it's Mac-only, but I will expand to windows if I get the motivation to do so.
