Nowhere Now Here

Real life to screen time convertor

You know the feeling. End the day and don't remember living it. Nowhere makes it visible. Walking adds color. Sleep adds the dark. Body, mind, heart choices fill the rest. Up to 100 colors per day. Want Instagram? Costs 4 colors for 10 minutes. 20 for an hour. Every day is a canvas and your actions color it. But using feeds drains colors. Nowhere is not a tracker. And not a blocker you'll tap through either. It's a fair trade — your screen time in exchange for real-life's colors.

Hi everyone! I want to introduce you to Nowhere — Now Here. This is my iOS digital-wellness-art project that redefines screen time in other apps by turning everyday activities into currency. By walking, sleeping, and noticing your real life actions, you earn Colors to unlock blocked apps and shape a generative canvas that evolves daily. I built Nowhere to help users reclaim control over their screen time by noticing the small everyday actions that actually color up the day. What sets Nowhere apart is its approach to screen time — it's not about cutting it down, it's about making you earn it by noticing how full your real day actually is. All your actions appear on a Canvas — a generative code art piece that is always unique and fully yours. It's beautiful, you can even set it as your wallpaper and notice how full your day was. And if the canvas gets desaturated — it means you spent too many Colors on doomscrolling and your day has literally lost its colors. I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback. This is a completely solo project — I'm loving what it turns out to be and trying to build it the right way. Apart from big tech launches at work, this is my first personal attempt to make something from scratch. So please tell me: what features or improvements would make you actually want to use this every day? Thank you, and I hope you'll also turn Nowhere into Now Here.
