I built NovaCapture because recording a screen is easy — making the recording actually look good is the annoying part.
After recording a demo, I'd often have to fix cursor movement, add zooms, clean up dead time, adjust the framing, and move the video into another editor.
So I wanted one simple Mac app that handles the whole workflow.
With NovaCapture, you can record naturally and then polish the recording with automatic zoom, smooth cursor movement, backgrounds, captions, annotations, and a built-in timeline editor.
