Hey everyone! I'm Jason, the founder of NovaBlock.
NovaBlock started because I got frustrated with my own browser.
I found myself installing one extension to block ads, another to get rid of cookie banners, and sometimes even a third one just to make YouTube ad blocking work properly again after an update. It felt ridiculous that something so simple had become so complicated.
So I decided to build the extension I actually wanted to use.
NovaBlock combines ad blocking, tracker protection, cookie banner removal, pop-up blocking, and YouTube ad blocking in one modern extension. I built it from the ground up for Manifest V3, with a big focus on speed, privacy, and making it feel like a premium product instead of just another utility.
One of my favorite features is Live Protection. Instead of showing a boring counter, you can actually see what NovaBlock is blocking while you browse. It makes the protection feel real.
I've spent the last few months improving performance, fixing edge cases, redesigning the interface more times than I'd like to admit, and listening to every bit of feedback I could get.
This is only the beginning. I have a huge roadmap planned and I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.
