Offline AI first aid, for anyone, anywhere — no internet, no registration, pure humanity. Nova F-R is a free, privacy-focused mobile app that gives people step-by-step first-aid guidance during emergencies where cellular networks, internet access, or emergency services are unavailable — natural disasters, war zones, infrastructure blackouts, or remote/wilderness situations.
I was in a meeting with the founders of En Nova. They wanted an app that could potentially save someone's life. They wanted a Trillion Parameter AI, with tutorial first aid videos the AI could retrieve from the internet in case the situation demanded it, etc. All that under a $0 budget. We developed the idea until we came to the first prototype: A local 986Mb weighting SLM fine-tuned by the FirstAidQA of NeurIPS.
