Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Journal because most journaling apps ask you to trust them with years of private writing before you've even decided you like the app. This one doesn't ask — everything's stored on your device from the first entry, no sign-up wall. A few things I cared about getting right: Threading, not just a list — entries chain onto each other the way a real train of thought does. Planner capacity is honest: 5 slots a day, and going over is shown, not blocked, so over-committing is visible instead of silently allowed. No AI. No "reflect on this entry," no embeddings, nothing phoning home. I stripped all of that out on purpose. Sync is optional. Sign in with Google only if you want your entries on a second device — otherwise nothing ever leaves the browser. Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's tried keeping a daily journal and fallen off after a week — what made you stop?
