Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm [your name], and I built NotchFun. What inspired it: if you trade on Solana, what you need to know is scattered across Telegram groups, Discord pings, X notifications and bots, and your phone buzzes all day. The one alert that mattered gets buried. Meanwhile, at the top of your MacBook screen, exactly where your eyes already are, there's a black strip doing nothing. I wanted it to light up when something actually matters. The problem I wanted to solve: get the signal in front of you within seconds, without another tab, bot or app to babysit, and without the hype that comes with most crypto alerts. How it evolved: • It started as a private alert feed for a small group: someone we trust spots something, and every notch lights up. • Each kind of alert (new pair, whale, volume, warning…) got its own colour, sound and animation, so you know what it is before you read it. • Then came the honesty features: an alert's numbers are frozen when it's sent, every alert is tracked from 5 minutes to 24 hours (losers included), and hype phrases like "100x" or "buy now" are flagged before anything goes out. • The most requested feature was following wallets. I looked at copy trading and deliberately didn't build it: NotchFun never touches wallets, keys or funds. Following a wallet only reads its public trades. The notch shows who bought what and how much, and you decide for yourself. • People wanted to bring the lists they already had, so you can paste hundreds of addresses or upload a CSV from Birdeye, GMGN or Cielo. • Notch Groups came last, so trading groups and creators can reach their members' notches directly. No notch? On other Macs it draws one. NotchFun is currently invite-only to keep the signal clean, but Product Hunt gets its own invite (first 100 people). I'd love your feedback: what should the notch show next, and which alerts would you actually want to be interrupted for?
