Notch
The Robinhood-style app for quitting nicotine pouches
Notch is the first nicotine tracker built around milligrams, not pouch counts — because a 3 mg and a 9 mg pouch aren't the same hit. Set your own taper curve (no cold-turkey demands), watch your line bend down as you cut back, and quit alongside friends on a leaderboard. Days are Logged, Clean, or Untracked — never silent zeros — so your stats reflect reality. Privacy-first: no ads, no analytics, no data sold. Built by someone trying to quit. Free on the App Store.
As a Zyn user of 4 years, I wanted an app to cut back that looked more like my Robinhood homepage, with a real-time chart of my usage that I could then look at against, my tapering goal, my friends' usage, as well as the community average. I also couldn't find an app where I could log 3, 6, and 9mg strength pouches (I switch it up during the day), and it would show me my usage in total mgs instead of total pouches, which is a much more accurate picture of my addiction. I'd like to focus on nicotine pouches for now because they are so prominent and I genuinely want to help people cut back, but eventually I would like to make this available for alcohol and cannabis dependency as well. These types of apps exists, but I feel that my approach to the functionality, look, and feel of the process of cutting back is much more intuitive and playful. I have been using the app for weeks now and it has made the process of quitting pouches truly fun and interactive. Thanks for your support!

Who hunted Notch?
Notch was hunted by Ryan Truettner. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
