noobtopro

Find where you stand, then close the gaps

noobtopro grades how you reason through math, physics, and chemistry, not just the final answer. A free, no-account diagnostic ranks you 0 to 350 per subject (Elementary to Doctorate) and shows where you stand in minutes. A built-in learning hub then helps you cover the concepts you missed or forgot, so you walk into university ready. Made for high school grads, gap year students, self-learners, and first-year undergrads who want to know where they stand

I built this for myself before it was ever meant to be a product. I moved to Germany in February, and between some personal stuff and a few health problems, I basically couldn't study properly for a few months. I fell behind everyone around me. So I signed up for a couple of the bigger learning platforms to catch up, and they made it worse. They felt cold. You get a wall of material, a right or wrong on the answer, and not much else. None of them cared how I got there. The way I broke a problem down, the steps I took, the reasoning behind it, none of that got looked at. The only thing that counted was whether my final number matched theirs. That bothered me more than I expected, and it's pretty much the reason noobtopro exists. Look at how students get graded. It's almost always the final answer and nothing else. Not the steps, not whether you actually understood it or just guessed well. Two people can write the same answer and be in completely different places, so grading only the result barely tells you anything. I wanted to measure the part that matters, so noobtopro grades the reasoning itself. It scores you across 9 axes and ranks you from 0 to 350 in each subject, so you can see where you stand and what to fix. One thing I want to be upfront about. I'm a student, not a developer, and I couldn't have coded this on my own. I built it leaning heavily on LLMs, mostly Claude, for the actual programming. What's mine is the idea, the rubric, and the call on what should be measured in the first place. The AI is the thing that let someone like me turn that into something people can use. It's early, and I'm putting it out mainly to hear what people think. If you've just finished school, you're on a gap year, you're teaching yourself, or you're about to start your first year of uni, I'd like to hear what you make of it, good or bad.

Who hunted noobtopro?

noobtopro was hunted by Russell Morley Rozario. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
