Noemium
Open source AI tools catalog with verified prices
Noemium — an open, auditable directory of AI tools, stacks and models. No pay-to-list. Every recommendation is a PR you can audit.
This started with a personal annoyance: I moved most of my work to Chinese models (Kimi, Qwen, GLM - insanely good, fraction of the price), and I realized there is no "best model" - there's the best model THIS month. Prices change weekly, new tools drop daily, and every "top AI tools" list ranks whoever pays the most.
So I started writing down what I actually test: real prices from the checkout page, honest verdicts, what breaks. Those notes became Noemium - an open source catalog where every recommendation is a public pull request you can audit. If we can't show the source, we don't print the number.
What's inside today: 157 tools across 12 categories, 36 models with live API prices, and 15 ready-made stacks with the real monthly cost of every subscription inside - from $0 student setups to a $650/mo one-person studio. There's also a graveyard for dead tools, because zombie listings are half of every other catalog.
Everything is MIT/CC-BY - the content too. If your favorite tool is missing or a price went stale, that's a 5-minute PR.
Happy to answer anything.
