I built Ninebloom: Sudoku Puzzles because I kept running into the same wall with mobile Sudoku apps: whenever I got stuck on a Hard or Expert board and tapped "Hint," the app would just drop a digit into a square with zero explanation of why it went there.
With Ninebloom, I wanted the Hint button to act like a personal logic tutor rather than a cheat code:
