Nimmi

Meal planning for the way you actually eat

Most meal planners assume one kind of kitchen. Nimmi plans breakfast, lunch and dinner for mixed and multicultural homes: 193 recipes across 19 cuisines, from West African and Somali to Gujarati, Filipino and Mexican. Food rules (halal, vegetarian, vegan, no beef, no nuts, gluten free) are never broken. Your grocery list follows your store's real aisle order, from Walmart to Patel Brothers and H Mart. Import recipes from TikTok or Instagram and cook step by step. No account needed.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Nimmi because every meal planner I tried assumed the same kitchen: chicken, broccoli, one supermarket. Most homes I know cook across cuisines, keep different food rules at the same table, and shop at a mix of stores. Nothing planned for that. What Nimmi does: • Swipe on dishes you'd actually cook, and it plans breakfast, lunch and dinner from those cuisines • Food rules are hard limits: if they leave too few dishes, it plans a shorter week rather than sneak something in • The grocery list follows the aisle order of your store, including specialist grocers like Patel Brothers and H Mart • Cook mode shows every step in one scrolling column, with timers you start by tapping the time in a step • Paste a TikTok, Instagram or YouTube link and the recipe comes in with every ingredient It runs on your phone: no account, no server, and your plans and lists never leave the device. It's a subscription with a 3-day free trial. I'd love to hear what's missing for how your household eats. Which cuisine or store should I add next?

Who hunted Nimmi?

Nimmi was hunted by Ayomide Fagboyo. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
