Notebook photos and voice notes into an agent-ready spec
Hand it photos of a notebook page, a voice note, or half-written paragraphs. It shows you what it understood, asks only what is missing, and gives back a PRD.md your coding agent can build from. Free, no account until you download it.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I build side projects the way most people do: an idea scattered across a notebook, a voice note on a walk, and three paragraphs typed at midnight. Then I paste a vague summary into Claude Code and spend the next three sessions arguing with it about scope.
Writing a proper spec first fixes that. Writing one by hand takes an afternoon I would rather spend building. So I made nib.
You hand it whatever you already have. A vision model reads the handwriting and the arrows; Whisper takes the voice note. It comes back with a handful of bullets, each citing which input it came from, and any contradictions in your own material already flagged — that part matters more than it sounds, because a chat will quietly pick one and move on. You correct them, it asks at most seven questions about things your material never said, and out comes a ten-section PRD.md: goals, non-goals, acceptance criteria, decisions.
Skip a question and the decision is recorded as an assumption inside the spec rather than invented. It does not write your application code, and it deletes your uploads after 30 days.
Free, and no account until you download. There is a one-time €7 pack that refines the spec with a frontier model and adds the context and task files your tool expects. No subscription, ever.
What I would genuinely like from you: feed it a real, messy notebook page — the worse the handwriting the better — and tell me what it got wrong. That is the feedback I cannot generate myself, and it is worth more to me than anything else today.
Happy to answer anything in the comments.

Who hunted nib?
nib was hunted by Fran Moreno. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
