👋 Hi Product Hunt!
I'm excited to share Next Editor, an open-source coding lesson editor inspired by the interactive learning experience popularized by Scrimba.
I originally started this project because I wanted a reusable recording and replay engine that anyone could use to build interactive coding education products. Over time, it evolved into a full browser-based editor with:
✨ Multi-file workspaces
🎥 Built-in recording and replay
⚡ Live runtime previews
📑 Synchronized slides and code playback
🌐 Support for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
My goal is to make interactive coding education more accessible by providing an open-source foundation that creators, schools, bootcamps, and companies can build on.
I'd love to hear:
What features would you want in an interactive coding lesson platform?
What are the biggest challenges you've faced teaching or learning programming online?
Thanks for checking it out, and I'm happy to answer any questions! 🚀
⭐ If you find the project useful, I'd greatly appreciate your support and feedback.
