I’m Lucas, the maker behind Nexis.
Like many of you, I love playing with open-source AI models (LLMs, Stable Diffusion, etc.). But I quickly got frustrated by two things: cloud subscription costs that add up, and the fact that our data and prompts are constantly being sent to third-party servers.
That’s why I built Nexis; a local-first AI studio designed to run entirely on your own hardware, without compromising on power or privacy. Whether you are on Windows or your Android phone, you have full control over your models.
