The idea came from a simple frustration — great founders are losing to average ones just because they don't have the right connections. That felt wrong to me. I wanted to build something where the work speaks for itself. So I started with one question — what if fundraising was as easy as swiping right? The process was intense. XMTP integration broke multiple times, smart contracts needed several iterations, and I was running on Claude and ChatGPT credits at 2am more than once. But every bug I fixed made the product more real. Nexis is not just a hackathon project for me. It is something I genuinely believe needs to exist.
