NetLens

Wifi made visible

NetLens turns your Android phone into a Wifi survey tool. Walk a space and a live heatmap paints itself beneath your steps, using just your camera - no floor plan, no extra hardware, no account. Spot dead zones and the best router spot. Beyond the map: a live Signal Meter, Channel Graph, Connection View, and AP Browser, plus PDF/PNG/CSV reports with photo markers. Everything stays on-device. Free does everything Pro does - one purchase removes ads and the watermark.

Top comment

I made NetLens because I couldn't find another tool that didn't give me sensory overload. As a field tech working on large wireless networks, I need to track down access points, or map them out. Now I no longer need a floor plan - I can just walk around, collect the data I'm after, and generate informative reports. It's my new tool, and I'm hoping to share it with you too.

Who hunted NetLens?

NetLens was hunted by Wade Arnold. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
