NearMirror lets you mirror and control your Android device from macOS, Windows, and Linux over USB or Wi-Fi. It combines real-time screen mirroring with keyboard/mouse control and live logcat logs—so you can test, debug, and interact without switching devices. Includes audio, recording, file transfer, and camera access. Built for developers, QA, and product teams who want a faster mobile workflow and demo.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built NearMirror to fix a workflow that kept slowing me down—constantly switching between my phone and laptop while testing and debugging Android apps.
I wanted something simple: mirror the device, control it with my keyboard, and see logcat logs live—without juggling multiple tools.
That idea turned into NearMirror:
• Mirror + control Android from desktop
• Live logcat while reproducing issues
• Works over USB or Wi-Fi
• Cross-platform (macOS, Windows, Linux)
• Extras like recording, audio, file transfer
A big focus was keeping it lightweight and easy to set up—no root, no complicated configs.
Happy to answer anything and would really appreciate your thoughts 🙏
