Top comment

I built javadecompiler.org to bring together a set of open source tools for modern Java decompilation. The project includes: jd-gui-duo: a desktop GUI for working with multiple Java decompilers. ECD++: an Eclipse IDE-focused muti-decompiler integration based on Enhanced Class Decompiler. transformer-api: a unified Java API for running several decompiler engines programmatically. The idea came from a practical problem: no single Java decompiler is best for every class file. Depending on the bytecode, compiler, obfuscation, or language features involved, different engines can produce better results. So instead of treating decompilers as isolated tools, JavaDecompiler.org makes it easier to compare, integrate, and automate them across GUI, IDE, and API workflows. It supports engines such as JD-Core, CFR, Procyon, Fernflower, Vineflower, and JADX. I’d love feedback from Java developers, reverse engineers, modders, and anyone who regularly needs to inspect or recover Java code.
