Navix didn't start as a startup idea. It started as an internal problem.
Our team at Orient Cargo spent years watching commercial teams lose time jumping between Outlook, spreadsheets, pricing sheets, WhatsApp, and generic CRMs that never really understood how freight forwarding works. Every quote required copying information from emails, customer history lived in different places, and important context disappeared whenever people changed roles or conversations got buried.
We looked at the software already on the market, but most solutions were either generic CRMs with freight fields added or operational TMS platforms that weren't built for commercial teams.
So we started building our own.
Initially, we only wanted to automate RFQ intake. But as we worked alongside freight forwarders, we realized the real problem wasn't quoting—it was fragmented commercial workflows. That's why Navix evolved into an AI-powered commercial operating layer that connects emails, RFQs, pricing, customer relationships, and shipment context in one place.
One thing we were careful about from day one was keeping humans in control. AI is great at reading emails, extracting data, and drafting work, but pricing decisions and customer relationships still belong to experienced freight professionals.
