Hi Product Hunt 👋 I spent years in strategic finance. One pattern kept showing up: mid-market corporate FP&A teams are under-tooled. They live in Excel and PowerPoint, ship board packs on a brutal cadence, and still lose hours every cycle — not only to re-paste, but to review loops, stale slides, and last-minute pack cleanup — with tools that are either too heavy, too narrow, or built for someone else’s workflow. After rounds of conversations with FP&A folks, I built Navifia around the core of that workflow — not a kitchen-sink suite. Three bets: 🧩 Reduce complexity — stay inside Excel and PowerPoint; no new app to learn; trim non-core fancy features. 🔧 Increase flexibility — work the way your team already iterates, without locking into a rigid suite. 🎯 Stay targeted — cover the pack cycle that actually hurts: Sync, review, iterate, and ship. What that looks like in practice: 🔗 Sync the model into the pack Insert Excel charts, tables, and ranges as linked shapes — change the model, one click, and every linked shape refreshes with formatting intact. 💬 Collaborate on the numbers, not in email Threads anchored to a cell or range — replies, statuses, and attachments (screenshots, links, Outlook emails) travel with the workbook. The deck owner can see open questions from PowerPoint too. 🔁 Iterate the pack without chaos Stamps (DRAFT / CONFIDENTIAL / FOR REVIEW…) for version status, Redact for temporary covers or permanent blackouts before an external send, and Finalize deck to ship a clean copy without breaking your working links. 📊 Keep the model moving between packs Workbook tools (split / consolidate / sheet manager), formula audit, Smart formatting, and keyboard shortcuts — the desk work between board cycles. ✅ Catch silent errors before the meeting Check Period and Check Numbers scan the deck for inconsistent labels and figures (the stale “Q1” next to a “YTD May” pack) before the board sees it. Privacy (non-negotiable for me): your spreadsheets and slides never leave your machine. Navifia runs locally inside Excel and PowerPoint. We only send license data (key, hashed machine ID, product, request ID); beta signup separately sends the name and email you enter for the key. Never cell values, formulas, slides, or document text.
