National Vehicle Inventory CLI
Search real dealer inventory from your terminal
A free, open source CLI for searching real U.S. dealer vehicle inventory from the terminal. It uses the Auto.dev Vehicle Listings API, supports JSON and MCP for agents, keeps a local SQLite cache, saves repeat searches, and tracks price and availability history by VIN.
I built National Vehicle Inventory CLI because car search is usually trapped in web UIs, while developers and AI agents need clean, scriptable access to real inventory. This wraps Auto.dev dealer listings in a read-only terminal workflow with JSON output, field selection, local caching, saved searches, price history, and an MCP server so agents can search vehicles without scraping or clicking around.
