I built Namepraise for the moment before you buy a domain. A domain is a brand decision. Most tools answer a different question: what the name might sell for, or whether the string looks free. Namepraise scores the name itself, from 0 to 100. Length, character set, TLD class, character pattern, and meaningful numbers are calculated in code. Phonetics, brand, meaning, and market are judged by Jev (https://typesafe.ai/blog/introdu...) in one call. The published number is a weighted average of up to 22 criteria. The model does not choose that number. 0–34 is Pass, 35–49 is Weak, 50–64 is Consider, 65–79 is Buy, and 80–100 is Strong buy. If the model's answers are unsettled, certainty under 40%, the label is Review instead of that band. It is not a price appraisal. It is not a trademark search or a legal opinion. Availability is a best-effort registry lookup and never changes the score. A missing record is not a promise that you can register the name. It is free. There is no account, and the site does not use cookies or tracking pixels. There is a short pause between scores. Availability links open Dynadot. Those links are affiliated, and they do not change the score. Try a name you almost registered. I want to hear which criterion felt wrong.
