I wanted a place to put the little things that interrupt a good workflow. A file I need in a minute. Something I copied. The next song. A timer. A meeting. So I built Naarchy: one small island at the top of my Linux desktop. Drop something in, get back to work, and pick it up when you need it. It is native Rust and GTK4, built for Omarchy and Hyprland. Free software, MIT licensed. You can read the code, change it, and keep it. No account or telemetry. For this launch I made the identity and motion graphics in Omadesign, then cut the release film in Remotion. The site lets you explore the island as you scroll. Install it, try it in your daily workflow, and tell me where it earns its place—or where it gets in your way. Michael

Who hunted Naarchy?

Naarchy was hunted by Michael Hurley. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
