I built MyTripNext as a solo side project over ~6 months. The idea came from a simple frustration: every travel search ends up showing the same “popular” destinations, regardless of what I actually want. So I flipped the approach, what if you start with your preferences first, and then find matching places? Under the hood, most of the time went into building and cleaning the dataset: 24,000+ metro cities (from ~130,000 processed) 4M+ places of interest real climate, geography, population, and cost data This is not an AI-generated travel recommender. It’s a structured dataset search engine for travel discovery. I’ll be actively using and improving it. Would love any feedback
