I’m the co-creator of MyTabiCare. This project didn’t start in a boardroom or a tech incubator. It started in the middle of a family crisis.
I found myself thrust into the role of primary caregiver for my mum. I was already a primary caregiver for one of my children who had special needs and was also in the process of recovering from a stroke. I quickly realized that managing care with sudden life transitions, as a sandwich generation, across distances and generations is incredibly heavy.
But the hardest part wasn't the actual physical labor: it was the emotional friction of managing the logistics with family.
When multiple people love someone, communication easily fractures. Group texts get buried. Resentment builds over who did what. One person feels isolated, while another feels out of the loop. I realized that transparency cures resentment. We didn't need more emotional debates; we needed a shared, objective source of truth that took the emotion out of the logistics.
That’s why we built MyTabiCare. We wanted a tool created by caregivers with lived experience, designed for real family teams.
Here is what we focused on making completely frictionless:
Universal Accessibility: It is entirely platform-agnostic and cross-compatible. No matter what device a family member or professional caregiver uses, the interface is deeply intuitive and universally accessible.
Daily Activity Journals: A central space to capture the things that actually matter, meals, hydration, medication, health vitals, exercise, daily activities, hygiene, sleep routines, visitors and thoughtful moments without clunky formatting.
Data Visualization: Turning daily journals into clear tables and graphs so you can spot trends at a glance that can be easily shared with a doctor or care professional.
Real-Time Alignment: Keeping the whole "circle of trust" updated instantly, so no one has to play telephone after a critical care transition.
MyTabiCare is live today because we want to help other families protect their relationships while protecting their loved ones.
