Top comment

I'm the founder of MyPhotoAI, and I want to show you something I've been building for the past six months that I think meaningfully changes what an AI photoshoot feels like.

The problem with the AI-headshot space right now

Every AI headshot tool does the same three things: takes your selfies, trains a LoRA or fine-tune, spits out 10-20 "business suit against grey background" images. You then open Photoshop to crop them for LinkedIn, crop again for Instagram, find a square for your email signature, and realise you need a different aspect ratio for your resume. A $35 photo session turns into 40 minutes of cropping.

That's the gap.

What MyPhotoAI does differently

1. A Brand Kit ships with every unlock. When your shoot is done, every photo is auto-cropped to the exact dimensions LinkedIn, Instagram (square + 4:5), resumes, email signatures, and X headers expect. One tap per platform chip, the file downloads at the correct pixel size. No Photoshop. No "save for web, quality 94". Just the right image for the right box.

2. 107 styled looks across 6 categories.
- 42 headshot looks (corporate, editorial, cinematic, natural)
- 33 creative portraits (cyberpunk, film noir, magazine editorial, Dubai luxury, Paris golden hour)
- 15 tasteful glamour looks
- 7 lifestyle (travel, fitness, wellness)
- 5 event looks (graduation, wedding, special occasions)
- 5 dating-app optimised looks

You pick what you want to BE, not how you want it "styled".

3. Up to 15 reference photos per session. Most competitors cap you at 4 or 5. The difference in likeness between 4 references and 15 is genuinely night and day. Your AI headshot looks like you, not a generic-looking person with your jaw shape.

4. Pay per photo, not per month.
- Starter - $15 for 5 photos
- Pro - $35 for 20 photos ($1.75 each)
- Premium - $65 for 50 photos
- Ultra - $99 for unlimited
Free to generate. You only pay when you decide you like what came out.

5. The latest image models under the hood, not a 2023-era Stable Diffusion fork. You can see the difference in skin texture, clothing fabric, and eye realism.

What I spent the last month on

- An entire new post-purchase surface: hero carousel with a reveal animation, the Brand Kit strip, a bulk ZIP download, and a single-photo download when you just want the one.
- Prompt engineering that explicitly preserves ethnicity, skin tone, hair texture, and facial structure. Earlier iterations would drift when scene descriptions got visually specific. That's fixed.

What I'd love feedback on

- Is the Brand Kit's 6 platforms the right 6? Missing Zoom background, TikTok profile, Spotify artist?
- Is $15 for 5 photos the right starter price, or too high / too low?
- The "Unlocked" post-purchase reveal - does it feel magical or does it get in the way?

Happy to answer anything below. This is live now at myphotoai.io.

Who hunted MyPhotoAI?

MyPhotoAI was hunted by Martin Kamata. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
