I built MyAirco because I wanted a better app for my own Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioners. The interesting part wasn't building another remote UI, it was figuring out how to communicate with the WF-RAC module. Now I'm hoping to get it in front of more Mitsubishi Heavy Industries owners and learn what features would make the app genuinely useful. If you use MHI air conditioners, I'd love your feedback.
Hey everyone!
I'm the developer behind MyAirco.
I built this because I have Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioners myself, and while the hardware is great, I wasn't happy with the Smart M-Air app.
So I started building my own Android controller. The interesting part was figuring out how to communicate with the WF-RAC Wi-Fi module and getting the different airco controls working reliably.
MyAirco now supports temperature, mode, fan speed, 3D Auto, vertical and horizontal airflow positioning, and multiple MHI air conditioners.
I'm launching it here because I'd love to get feedback from more MHI owners and see what features people would like next.
