Hi Product Hunt! I’m Jason, an independent developer and direct support professional. I also have personal experience with dementia in my family. I built My Care Journals for people who suddenly find themselves caring for a family member and may feel untrained, unprepared, and unsure where to begin. I wanted to give them more than a blank notes app: practical, condition-specific guidance about what to watch for, suggestions for responding to common situations, and an organized way to document important changes. The app draws on my experience as a direct support professional, and observations shared by other caregivers. The app includes journals for dementia, Parkinson’s, autism, and Prader-Willi syndrome. Each one provides focused categories, optional note suggestions, and practical guidance written with first-time family caregivers in mind. The app works offline and has no accounts, ads, analytics, or subscriptions. Information is stored privately on the caregiver’s device. This is my first Product Hunt launch.
