Music Geo

A music-geography guessing game

Music Geo is a fast, mobile-first globe game: you get a prompt — where an artist was born, where a genre began, or where a festival lives — and you tap the country or U.S. state on a 3D globe. It scores how close you were. 390+ questions across every genre and era, from Chappell Roan to reggaeton to techno. Free, no sign-up: 10 questions a day, or go unlimited with Plus.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Noah - I built Music Geo. It started as a "bet you can't guess where this artist is actually from" argument with friends. Turns out music geography is full of surprises: techno came out of Detroit, Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar, reggaeton grew out of Panama and Puerto Rico. So I turned it into a game: you get a prompt (artist birthplace, genre origin, festival, venue) and tap where it belongs on a spinning globe. 390+ questions so far, free and no sign-up. Would love your feedback - especially which questions are too easy or too brutal. What's your score?
