I’m back with another project for my fellow music festival lovers. 😁
TLDR - I made an app that makes you a personalized Spotify playlist based on a music festival lineup.
Backstory - If you’re anything like myself, you spend hours curating playlists based on activities, vibe, time of year, and of course, upcoming events and music festivals. For music festivals specifically, I always want a playlist filled with the artists I personally want to see at the music festival. And since I’ve been working on Festival Dust, I now have all this data for music festivals and their lineups already!
How it works - There’s just 3 steps to get your playlist:
1. Connect your Spotify account - You’ll be redirected to authorize us to access your Spotify profile. We need this to access your liked songs and get permission to create a playlist on your profile.
2. Choose a Music Festival - We have a bunch of playlists both past and upcoming to choose from, but if we’re missing one you want, let us know through the app or through the Contact page and we’ll add it for you!
3. Create Playlist - Click Create and you’ll get confirmation within a second or two of your newly created playlist along with a share link. Your playlist will show up right away in your Spotify account!
Enjoy - Make as many playlists as you want and let us know what you think! Once again, if you want me to add a festival we’re missing you can use the contact form, our app, or just message me here and I’ll try to add any suggestions right away (as long as I’m awake.)
